Another niche carved, by WOOD CARVERS

The wood carver, Mahnaz Amir Sheikh Furniture designing is no longer a male domain. Here in Multan, women have taken over the charge. Women, generally know more about furnishing and decorations. Because, they are usually responsible for performing these tasks, everywhere. Specially, those women, who are born with Golden spoons in their mouth. They tend to develop extra taste for finishing and designs. Such is the case with Mahnaz Amir Sheikh. The lady is brave enough to venture into the world of this male dominated business world, almost a decade ago. And proved herself, a great competition for those, already raging in this field. SOS committee party

Zenab, Hafsa, Tehmina Munir and a guest with Rani. February was all taken by weddings, due to which, many of the committee parties (supposed to take place in February) automatically moved to March. SOS village committee for February, 2013, was held on 13th March, by three gorgeous women Tehmina Munir, Misbah Idrees and Samina Qureshi. It was a full rainy day. The venue was, the beautiful house of Misbah Idrees. Adorned with candle lights and flower arrangements, specially to brighten the occasion. The surprise of the show, was a 'naat khwani' session, by the girls of SOS village. Totally unannounced, but something which imparted a spirit and theme to the party. Followed by chit chat of the SOS administration about the upcoming events. Later, the guests were entertained by a scrumptious, sumptuous, tea-dinner. SPWCCI celebrates GEW with NUML University

Masooma Sibtain Shoaib, chief speaker of the seminar. 'National university of modern languages' (or NUML, as it is popularly known), is providing their students, maximum exposure to personalities, engaged in inspiring roles in the society.   To serve the purpose, different seminars are conducted and people from different walks of life are invited at the campus to share their stories and experiences with the students, to enkindle in them a spirit to serve their nation and to be useful to the society. On 12th March, 2013, as part of  GEW ( Global entrepreneurship week) activities and women's day celebration a seminar was conducted at NUML, Multan.  Under the title, 'uplifting humanity through women empowerment', to define the capacity  of building the nation by improving economic conditions of females in the society And there could not be, better and inspiring role models for entrepreneurship, than members of SPWCCI. These strong, prominent, motivate
