SOS Herman Gmeiner school, third board meeting for the session of 2012 to 2014.

Mahnaz Fareed chairing the meeting, with Saira Nasir and Rubina Arshad at her sides. SOS Herman Gmeiner school is one of those unique projects, which are constantly watched over, looked after by a team of extremely vigilant board members. Mahnaz Fareed Sheikh , who heads all the SOS village projects in Multan, is not the kind of person, who takes people on board just to please or honour them. She selects the most useful and efficient of people to accompany her in the cause that she has laid her entire life for. She makes sure, the members are productive as well. She has a way of making them work. Blessed with this humble, gentle, art of persuasion, she derives out the desired results from them. Therefore, the board members of SOS HG school are mostly educationists or people who have some strong background in the field of education. Mahnaz keeps them committed to the cause by assigning them several tasks and meetings throughout the session during which, they are on board...

Two great parties by one great lady, Mahnaz Amir Sheikh.

Mahnaz Amir Sheikh in her beautiful lawn. Mahnaz Amir Sheikh is among those eminent ladies of Multan, who have put a lot of effort in creating their own individual identity, despite having big references of their families. Mahnaz is the only female entrepreneur in entire South Punjab, who   successfully works in the field of furniture and has established a long list of loyal customers. Daughter of the two remarkable political and social personalities of the city of saints, Mr. (late) Mukhtiar Sheikh and Mrs. Farrukh Mukhtiar. Mahnaz has inherited the best of their qualities, along with the name and fame. And stands tall, with characteristics unique to her personality. Mahnaz has recently moved to Canada for the education of her children. But, it does not mean, she has lost her contact with the people back in her city. Every three months or so, she gets back in the city, throws great parties and entertains her near and dear at her beautiful, palatial house. This April, she...

Friends of SOS also throw a Red party.

Mrs. Riaz Qureshi, Rani, Romana Tanveer, Mrs. Nuzhat Ejaz. February is the month of LOVE and RED speaks as its color. So, most of the parties held in February are dedicated to Valentine's theme, with Red followed as a dress code. Friends of SOS Multan, also decided to follow the same theme for their committee party during this month. The hostesses were Romana Tanveer, Rani Maqsood, Uzma and Zainab. On Monday, 24th February, they arranged a hi-tea at 'Mehfil' in Ramada. It turned out to be a extremely vibrant event, with lots of enthusiasm.  The entire hall was decorated with Red balloons and flower arrangements. Members were requested to attend the party, dressed in Red. And there was a special prize for the one, who put maximum application of Red in dressing up for the evening. A prize, eventually won by Mrs. Nuzhat Ejaz. Another interesting factor; this was not just single 'friends of SOS committee' but the hostesses had combined it with another committee of...
