Glimpses of the event   Life is so unpredictable. It often leaves us bewildered by its strange arrangements. Like this Milaad was not planned by this group of ladies at the club, they had arranged some other extravagant fun show in the beginning of the spring. Then the Corona quarantine struck and everything was postponed. In October, Mrs. Jameeda Malik, the head of this prestigious group of ladies (known at the club by the title of 'Professors' Group) requested the administration to open the club. So that she and her group fellows are free of their responsibility of holding an event. As the sacred Islamic month of Rabi-ul-awal had started, Mrs. Jameeda Malik expressed a desire to hold a milaad, a religious congregation to honor the noble personality of Prophet, Muhammed   (peace be upon him). Milaad is a beautiful tradition held in reverence of our Holy prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). In the past, there were recitals of poems to honour this sacred personality of last prophet of Islam Muhammad (peace be upon him) but now that custom is changing. Inspiring Islamic lectures about the life of services this holy being are the new trend. Arranging milaads on annual basis is customary to members of the ladies club Multan. The lifetime president of the ladies club, Mrs. Farrukh Mukhtar and her group members ( who are mainly her own family) were fortunate to avail this spiritual blessing at the end of the closing of the year, on 14th December 2016. A renowned scholar was invited to enlighten members of the ladies club, about the life works of the Hazrat Muhammad (peace be upon him). Entire club was beautifully lit with lights and flower arrangements, in an ambience bathed in White colour. The occasion was also utilised for the ''annual prize distribution''...

Mahnaz Amir and Mrs. Farrukh Mukhtar Ladies club Multan, a slice of women's social life in the city of saints. An embodiment of societal interaction among the young and the old. An epitome of living legends, who have journeyed through time and inspired generations. A platform to learn, teach, express, preach and to be cordial. From decade to decade, year to year, month to month, this club has worked as a scaffold for ladies of Multan, to shine among their kind by sharing their talents and capabilities. The tradition still goes on, after more than half a century. As we all know the month of December is favourite time for  Multani-ites  to party. And by chance, Islamic month of Rabi-ul-Awal,  which is itself a call for celebration,  happened to fall at the same time. Arrangement of milaad, awaiting guests Allah Almighty orders all the Muslims to follow the example of Hazrat Muhammad (peace be upon him) and  apply his prophetic way in words, deeds, obedience to his commands, avoidance of whatever he prohibited and adopt his manner in times of ease, hardship, joy and disappointment. Immense love and respect for the holy prophet and the faith that Muhammed (peace be upon him) is the last and final apostle of Islam, are the prerequisites of this religion.  The holy Prophet said "None of you will have faith till  he loves me more than his father, his children and all mankind. "   So, inorder to offer their respects and to show their love, Muslims around the world observe the birthday of holy prophet, as milaad.
