The last member of the month ceremony by I ❤️ Multan

Glimpses of the event Corona, Corona. Variants after variants, waves over waves. This pandemic, does not seem to be coming slow. Arrival of vaccine maybe a good news, but the speed of infections is faster than that of the vaccination.   I ❤️ Multan, m ember of the month ceremony was being postponed from April, as the main sponsor Dr. Munir Hussain Shah, lost his father to Corona. Also, he and his wife, Mrs. Fariha Munir, both suffered this pandemic and remained hospitalized and then in isolation. Fortunately, they overcame this ailment and resumed life, but decided to end this 'member of the month ceremony'. As, no matter, how small the gathering, still the risk of exposure is always there. There was a great public demand of a celebration, as I ❤️ Multan has acquired a massive number of 11 thousands members in the group, within less than an year. Qaisar Khan Pitafi's book launch.

Qaisar Khan Pitafi, explaining the significance of design and cover of his book. Idher Udher Kee, the masterpiece of Qaisar Khan Pitafi's genius. Qaisar Khan Pitafi is one great looking gentleman, with an equally meritorious intellect to match. Before his arrival in the literary world, he was already a celebrated artist, but of a different field. A sports champion, who had to his credit, many trophies, prizes and medals in 'golf' and 'lawn tennis'. In the year 2011, he won all Pakistan, 'lawn tennis championship', organized in Military garrison mess, Multan. He still pursues his passion of sports, alongwith audacious indulgence in column writing. 'Idher, udher kee', is his first book; a collection of  his columns published in 'Urdu' news daily, 'Nawa-i-Waqt'.  The most distinguished feature of these columns, is his humorous satire on the politicians, political situations and at the inequality, injustices of the society. On this father's day, the writer of this blog wants to dedicate a piece of writing to her father, Naseem Ahmad Khan Pitafi. Lovingly, called by his children, as 'abu jaan'. Extremely kind and gentle, Naseem Ahmad Khan Pitafi, hailed from an aristocratic, feudal, Balouch family, residing on the lands of, 'Lundi Pitafi'. Named after his family, which exercised, a historic record of eleven hundred years of ownership over a vast area, near Muzzafargarh district.  His date of birth is believed to be 15th January, 1948; but during his life, he denied it's originality, because he believed the year was 1946 & also had doubts about  the day & month, for some reasons only known to him. He joined army in 1965 as a teenage cadet, got promoted to Lt. Colonel (don't want to go into details of his services & important posts that he served, because it is his fatherhood, being discussed here). He took an early retirement in 1988/89 because of difference of...
