Wonder women celebrate women's day. SPWCCI

Every year, International women's day is celebrated all around the world, on 8th of March. To recognize admire and appreciate the roles of women in the society. It is a reminder that no society can ever survive, until women are not provided equal rights, equal opportunities and more respect to cherish their existence. The members of SPWCCI are the greatest example that there is nothing in the world that men can achieve but women cannot. These women are entrepreneurs. Strong, independent  and determined. They fight against the odds of life, support their families, create job opportunities for other people in the society. They are WONDER WOMEN, casting their impressions, inspiring the society. On Friday, 8th March, inorder to show solidarity with rest of the women of the world, the members of SPWCCI arranged a celebration at 'ladies club', Multan. SOS, Children's Village, Multan.

Inauguration ceremony of youth homes. Mahnaz Fareed. A loving home for abandoned or orphaned children. A belief that they also have a right to live within a family and must be nurtured, surrounded by love, care and security; even if they have been deprived by their own flesh and blood. This vision has helped, establish an excellent family based, child care system in form of  SOS children's villages. To establish one such village in a city like Multan, was indeed a Herculean task. And as mentioned in several other posts on this blog,  Mahnaz Fareed  was destined to harbour this prestigious project. Starting from a simple house, to a complete village based on many homes. Then, Herman Gmeiner school, for children of SOS village, also serving the low income group families of the society. Saadia Yaqub and Mahnaz Fareed The two heads of SOS village, Multan. SOS children's villages; work in almost 132 countries all over the world. The aim behind this private welfare organization, is to provide abandoned children or orphans, an environment possibly close to their normal home. Along with good nurturing; education, security and loving care is provided to children deprived of their parents, till they are able to lead independent lives. In Multan, SOS village is headed by  Mahnaz Fareed ; a gorgeous young woman, who has brought this project from simplest of its origin, to the greatest heights. The impressive construction of an entire village for SOS children, Herman Gmeiner school specially meant for children of SOS, speak volumes about the strength of this beautiful young soul. Here is a little post to inform all the readers of this blog, that its author/writer,  Fariha Munir Shah , (my humble self) has been accredited the '' 1st female blogger '', of South Punjab, recognized & acknowledged by SPWCCI , (South Punjab, women's chamber of commerce & industry).   My sincere thanks to Mr. Hammad Siddiqui , who is my mentor and instructor in improving this blog. Also to  Masooma  Sibtain Shoaib, president SPWCCI, who actually suggested this idea & directed me to it. Because she knew, there is no other female blogger in this region, so this credit goes to her. She not just carved me into one, but officially certified that I am, 'the first female blogger' of South Punjab. Thanks, to all those who have read, admired, even criticized my work.
