The soil of Multan is enriched with the smell of mysticism. Labelled as, 'the city of saints' because, it is replete with the tombs, shrines & mausoleums of great preachers of Islam, who arrived here, from the Arab world & were embraced by this ancient city, with open arms. These saints were among those, who used their knowledge & wisdom, instead of swords & weapons to win over the hearts, of the people, of this land. Their message was Islam, but they succeeded more by their 'sufi skills', than any warrior, who ever invaded this land. Their message was peace, harmony, love, equality, justice & all the things, the real Islam stands for.
