Celebration of Saraiki culture

Uzma Burana hosting her show Multan is one of the few places on earth, where Saraiki is regarded a native language.  As this city is considered a parallel civilization to Rome; Saraiki is often compared to French language in sweetness, softness and beauty. It has a strange poetic quality about it. This language is widely spoken in entire South of Punjab and at the bordering areas in Sindh, Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtoonkhwah. Richness of Saraiki heritage and culture can flabbergast those, who are unaware of it. Milaad by Mrs. Zeba Javed.

Three graces of their family. (Left) Anjum Sohail, Zeba Javed, (Right) Saima Faisal Zeba Javed is among few of the most prominent ladies, who form the social fabric of women's life in Multan. It is impossible for any woman, who has ever spent some time in the city of saints and loved to socialize, not to be acquainted with the benign personality of this lady. Her husband, Dr. Javed, also happens to be the partner in the same business. Mrs. Zeba Javed is fortunate to be blessed, with sisters like, Anjum Sohail. And even more luckier to have a sister in law (an angelic beauty with a heart of Gold), Mrs. Saima Faisal. Therefore, it is truly justified to say that, this entire family holds a celebrity status in Multan. It is a tradition of the Multani-ites to arrange milaad, as the inaugural function for any wedding. ...

(For the information of those, who are not aware of this term: it is a devotional sufi song with music, performed by multiple singers at a time). Doctor Munir Hussain is a handsome young man, whose charismatic healing powers are believed to be more than ordinary medical practitioners. Many of his patients associate stories of the miraculous treatment he provided, which revived their lives back. The reason commonly believed is that, he is a 'Syed' by origin (an ancient lineage, directly associated  by the lady Fatima, the beloved daughter of the last prophet of Islam, Hazrat Mohammed, peace be upon him). Also,  the descendant of  'Pir Sheedi Lal': a famous saint of Multan; M...
