Friends of SOS last party (2018-19) before new beginning

Same is the case with 'friends of SOS' committee group. It is meant for a sacred cause, which is to bring joys in the lives of children of SOS village Multan. It boasts, the largest number of members in any committee group ever started in the city of saints. Members vary from  the youngest to oldest. From the most stylish people, to most religious ladies, everybody is a part of it and try to bring their own kind fun. Last committee party held in May, before summer vacations was hosted by Farah Karim Khawaja, Sadia Dogar, Kiran Dodar, Shahama Shahd, Novaira Fahad, Anum Khichi and Aarfa. The venue was Ramada hotel. Department of English, Bahauddin Zakaria University Multan is a historical institution because of extremely learned and legendary teachers like Madam Dr. Mubina Talat. She is among those dedicated few, who took pains to learn first and then, to deliver Chaucer's poetry in exact same accent, as he himself must have, in archaic English. The knowledge she has imparted and example of excellence she has set for university professors in Pakistan is unparallel. She has served as head of English department BZU for several years and retired sometime ago, but her passion for teaching and learning is not over. Many other institutes continue to benefit from this epitome of knowlege and have her on board as honrary visiting faculty for English literature and language. Friends of SOS welcomed summer 2019

April, in the city of saints, is an unpredictive month. Bright sunshine one day, gets cloudy and rainy the other. Winter remains reluctant to leave and summer too eager to come. Seems like a skirmish of seasons. While spring flirts on with both, growing flowers, fresh sprouts. Adding colors to the land, brightening the scene, while summer knocks at the door. Aisha Khakwani, Rabia Khakwani, Maham, Khadija Zubair, Naheed Zulfiqar, Bisma Salman, Farah Saqib, Sarwat Bano, Uzma Ali, Zainab Mahay, opened the door with great enthusiasm. It was their turn to throw party in 'friends of SOS committee' and they decided to go for this theme to 'welcome the summer', at Ramada hotel Multan, on 19th April 2019. A respledent layout adorned 'mehfil hall'. Yellow Roses, on the tables, in form of bouquets, flower arrangements and garlands, accentuated the beauty of the theme.
