This year (2021) Pakistan's independence day arrived in the sacred month of ' Muharram', which is believed to be a month of woe and bereavement for Shia Muslims and their sentiment is honored by all. Patriotic people opted for other alternates to rejoice the day this nation acquired freedom. Inspired by Prime minister of Pakistan and encouraged by PHA (Pakistan horticultural association) specially in Multan, majority of patriots celebrated 14th August by carrying out plantation drives throughout the country. Being one of them, we also followed the plan and launched a campaign for Greener Pakistan under the banner of I Multan . As you all know, due to massive urbanization and construction of residential colonies, Multan had earned quite some notoriety over the ruthless cutting of trees.
