March 2021 birthday party for SOS children

Glimpses from the amazing musical  evening The Corona times are still looming over, but for mental health, it is of utmost importance to the keep away the gloom. At SOS village Multan, significant efforts are made by Mahnaz Fareed  and her team to keep the children raised there, mentally healthy and happily connected with the world. For the purpose, whenever is the chance, different events, like carnivals, fairs, musical evenings are arranged and people are invited over to spend time with them.  In the month of March, Corona restrictions were relaxed and activities were allowed by the government. Following SOPs, on the Ides of March, a beautiful musical evening was arranged to celebrate the birthday of SOS children born in the month. The sitting arrangements were done in the open air, in the lush Green lawns, surrounded by the majestic, lofty trees, in the remarkable piece of architecture that the building of SOS village Multan is.  The hostesses for the event were Afia Khizer, Afshan

Glimpses of the event February 2021 witnessed two remarkable enlightening events, hosted by Khawaja Abdul Haq and Mrs. Mahwish Abdulhaq titled 'Multan Enlightenment days', which eventually caused the launch of a superb new community named 'Enlightened Multan' . Aimed at enlightening the minds and souls of natives of the city of saints about mental health and social issues. In the month of March, as the times were getting unpredictable because third wave of Corona was ringing the bells around the corner and there were news coming up of lockdowns and bans on the social events. Yet, the extremely successful proceedings of the previous events had raised a great demand among this community to arrange more of such gatherings. Glimpses from the event The children at SOS village Multan are the happiest, when they have visitors. They are the most social, sociable, entertaining, hospitable kind of people you will ever come across. You believe you are going there to give them your precious time or something else, but on returning, you realize that it is actually you, who has received a lot more. More love, more care, attention and the feeling that you have done it for a noble cause.
