AODELL BZU, informal reunion 2018

The group photo of  the attendees with H.O.D. Dr. Naveed Department of English Bahuddin Zakria University Multan came into existence in 1975. Although, at that time it started with two years of masters of Arts, degree program, but now, meeting the latest trends, BS (4 years graduation) is also being offered here. Which has doubled the duration of the stay at the campus. Thus, increasing the attachments and association with this alma mater. It is but natural for the old students (who complete their studies here and pass out) for having a desire to re-connect with their fellow students and to re-visit their institution. For the purpose, different people from this particular department came up with different alumni reunion associations, but nothing lasted. Friends of SOS celebrate winter with fur and velvet

Naema Mehdi, Nadia Amir, Mala Ahsan and Dr. Munaza, few of the hostesses Multan is known for its hot weather throughout the country, but little do majority of people know that winters here are as intense, as the summers are, and it is because it is located close to the border of Balochistan. Just 80 km away from a hill station called Fort Monroe. So, it provides you a fair chance to wear fur, coats, long shoes and velvets, from November till February. That was exactly what the hostesses of the friends of SOS committee planned for their party in January 2018. Mala Ahsan, Naema Mehdi, Nadia Amir, Dr. Zahida, Dr. Munaza, Novaira Khakwani and rest of their group, decided to hold a 'fur and velvet party. Friends of SOS were requested to wear them to attend the party. That was not all. The main organizer of the event, Mala Ahsan, went on to add snow (which Multan lacks in winter, despite the cold).
