Hostesses of the evening. Misbah Idrees, Tehmina Munir, Mala Ahsan with Mahnaz Fareed Sheikh. Another amazing evening awaited 'Friends of SOS', on 14th October. An Eid milan, garden party in magnificent lawns of Multan Garrison Mess. Grandiose historical building of MGM, superb ambiance, pleasant weather, complimented by colourful, formal Eid attires by the members. Which was the demand of the hostesses,  Mala Ahsan , Tehmina Munir , Misbah Idrees and Munaza Malik. It indeed worked well to cherish the spirit of Eid. The hostesses had also arranged different games, with lots of prizes to entertain their guests. Being an eid milan, there had to be a prize of best dressed lady. The hostesses extended their generosity to all those, who were present. Every guest was a winner and well deserved it, as everybody appeared at their best. SOS Herman Gmeiner school is one of those unique projects, which are constantly watched over, looked after by a team of extremely vigilant board members. Mahnaz Fareed Sheikh , who heads all the SOS village projects in Multan, is not the kind of person, who takes people on board just to please or honour them. She selects the most useful and efficient of people to accompany her in the cause that she has laid her entire life for. She makes sure, the members are productive as well. She has a way of making them work. Blessed with this humble, gentle, art of persuasion, she derives out the desired results from them. Therefore, the board members of SOS HG school are mostly educationists or people who have some strong background in the field of education. Mahnaz Farid, Hania Shahid and Fariha Munir Shah SOS village Multan , is such an impressive and thoroughly looked after project that philanthropists find ways to reach out and help this institution. The transparency and excellent record keeping of the expenditure and of every penny received as donation, encourage people to trust this project and invite their friends and family to contribute for the well being and betterment of the young souls being raised here.  The third meeting of the executive board members took place on 10th February 2014, at 4pm. Hania Shahid, Fariha Munir Shah , Saadia Yaqub ,  Rubina Arshad, Ayesha Najeeb, Mr. Shahbaaz Ali Chattha were among thos executive board members, who attended this meeting. Also, the representatives of Nizam Solar energy  were present at the occasion. The  three hostesses of the evening, Freha Ismail, Mahnaz Fareed and Dr. Saleha Bokhari SOS village and Herman Gmeiner school Multan are two mega living projects, which require day to day maintainence and assistance every minute of the day. An enormous, Herculean task, which no man in the city of saints dared to carry out but instead, a petite, extremely elegant, young lady, gathered her strength and pushed it ahead. It was only Mahnaz Fareed  in the begining, who took the initiative with some friends and family members. And today, she is proudly supported by around 200 'friends of SOS', in this cause.  The most successful and regular of all the activities, carried out by the team of Mahnaz Fareed Sheikh  for fund raising and keeping people engaged with children of SOS village, is again a committee party circle.
