Mother's day celebration by Friends of SOS

  Hostesses Dr. Munazza Nasir, Atika Hussain, Kiran Dogar with Fariha Munir, Saima Faisal, Rameen Anis and Sos mothers SOS village is a modern kind of shelter-house, which is systematically designed as a place, where orphans and abandoned children, get a family of their own, alongwith a house which they can call their home. A village consists of several houses. Each house hosts ten children and they are looked after by a woman, who is assigned the task of being their mother. She looks after them. From cooking their meals to dressing them up and any other job that a mother is supposed to do, she is there to perform. This job requires more physical, emotional and mental hardwork, as even real mothers lose their balance, when it comes to 'taming of the shrew' whom we call our children.
