Sarah Bilal Ahsan, the name is enough of description of her. Apparently, a tough, strict, hardcore educationist/ headmistress, but only our blog, brings to you an expose' to reveal, who she really is.

For the first time, in the history of the city of saints, we are about to leak classified information about this lady, who has served as head of some prestigious private sector schools like Beaconhouse and city school. Imagine it!
Are you ready to be shocked and stunned by some revelations about her?

I am sure, her students are thoroughly going to enjoy it and for them, she will never be the same again. Are you ready?
Then scroll down!

Bring your ears near to FarihaMunirShahTimes and listen. Sarah Bilal is not, what she pretends to be.

She has been hiding her crazy, adventurous, fun side from all her students. They are oblivious of the fact that she is even more fun loving than most of younger lot ever would be. She loves to travel the world and is more daring than any of her students would ever be.

The tough exterior of hers, encapsulates a very soft and kind interior. Always comforting others, lending a helping hand and a shoulder to cry on, whoever needs it the most.

She loves to throw parties. Not ordinary ones, but properly themed and despite her busy schedule, she takes time out to decorate and design her place extensively according to the theme and cook the food at home as well.

Just take the example of her recent 'Punjabi' themed dinner in April, for FMS committee members, which she hosted at her palatial home. The decorations started right from the lush green lawn. Colorful umbrellas were hung upside down with beautiful fairy lights. Gharay (the earthen pots) painted in bright hues were laid across the entrance. Kites and paper flowers adorned the walls. Golden and silver buntings further enhanced the beauty of her place. Everything dazzled with her magic touch.

FMS committee members are all great fun as well. Ready for every theme to follow. They showed up dressed in bright attires. Complete with hair accessories like parandas and traditional jewellery. Each and everyone was ready to have fun. Sarah Bilal had put on such enticing Punjabi music that everyone had to take a spin. Then together they went for 'luddi and jhumar' too.

For singing, this group is lucky to have two melody queens, Uzma Khan and Shirin Tasawur. Where they entertained by their skillful voices, Shazia Arshad  surprised everyone by singing a Saraiki score, 'Chitray padhar ty'. Everyone joined in and sang together.

Then there was the photoshoot. Each one of the members played the role of photographer. Selfies and pictures being essential part of this committee, as these have to be published with the detailed stories on this blog.

At the end, a superb, scrumptious, sumptuous treat was laid down by Sarah Bilal. All home cooked cuisine, even drinks displayed complete boycott of Zionist products. The ladies reassured that they harbor disgust for those who do not support Palestine. On this note, the party came to an end.

Thanks to Sarah Bilal for always putting so much effort and giving her best to entertain her friends. Until next time, Bella Ciao! Bella Ciao!

M.G.M. Swimming pool.

View of the domes of MGM bulding from inside the pool. The crystal clear blue water. Chairs lined up for the spectators. Little pool for the toddlers. Summer is finally here, although, the weather still turns unpredictable at times. But still, one feels like taking a dip in the cool, cool water of a crystal clear pool.  M.G.M (Multan Garrison Mess. Commonly known among  Multanis, by its' old name 'services club'), opens up, pool doors for all its' members every 15th of April. The pool is open air, so it works on seasonal basis. From April to September/ October (if weather allows it).  Last year, the pool remained open, only till May, after that, it was shut down for renovations & could not be reopened because of the 'dengue' scare. MGM pool has always been, undoubtedly the biggest & the best in this city, with an excellent filtration plant to boast & an extremely dedicated team of military men as workers, for maintaining th...

Annual debates at SOS Herman Gmeiner school

Glimpses from the event When you first visit SOS Herman Gmeiner school Multan, you are amazed by its majestic architectural design, beautifully decorated class rooms, functional libraries, meticulously pruned playgrounds, clean walkways and glistening environment. You look at the well mannered, disciplined, full of smiles students, extremely efficient staff members, all this makes you believe that this must be a high end school. To be honest, it is equally great in all its standards. Rather better in some, as they have Rosetta Stone library, through its audio/video English learning methods, children of this school have acquired exceptional accents and perfect pronunciations. Each student has access to laptop in computer class, their teachers use smartboard alongwith blackboard. Even their teachers are assessed and guided with the help of executive committee members. There is a subject of  'general knowledge', which is based on the colorful books in their library, it requires th...

Leading lady of Multan Mrs. Farrukh Mukhtar

Mrs. Farrukh Mukhtar Mrs. Farrukh Mukhtar is a name synonymous with women empowerment in entire South Punjab. She is a living proof of the saying, 'empowered women, empower other women'. She became a member of Majlis-e-shurra of Pakistan and served at that position from 1982 to 1985 and dedicated herself for the betterment of underprivileged women of South Punjab.  Mrs. Farrukh Mukhtar was fully aware of the talents of the women of this area and knew how their skills were exploited at home and at work. She was determined to uplift and raise their standards of living, through education and trainings. She was among first people to ever demand a separate university for the girls of Multan and remained persistent about it. Finally, it bore fruit, three decades later, in form of women's university Multan.  Not just education, but she has worked for the social and economic empowerment of the women too. She is the president of Ladies club Multan. A social platform, which exists fo...
