Zubia Zainab launching event.

The eve of 24th June, 2012, witnessed, 'dawn' of a new era in the world of fashion design in the city of saints. An exquisite, exuberant, meticulous, launch of an exclusive new brand 'Zubia Zainab ', at the latest & happening, new place in Multan, 'the United Mall', where this brand has opened its 1st outlet.

After 'Trends' & 'Silkz', a new venture, by two great wizards of the fashion world of South Punjab.
Masooma Sibtain & Mr.Shoaib Akhtar, these two creative souls, not just share their passion for designing but also, their lives as partners. This couple, husband & wife, been vigorously working to bring fashion & style into the lives of the city of saints for the last thirteen years. Blessed with 'Midas touch', everything they touch, transforms into a raging success.

They have named this brand after their daughter, Zubia Zainab. Being the offspring of such artistically capable people, she has also inherited great aesthetics & creativity.

Back to the launch; first of its kind, this event turned out to be a roaring success. Well attended by all the hip & happening people of this city. It also boasted, an amazingly beautiful lady, a style icon in herself, as the guest of honour. Mrs. Ayesha Lu Lu Alqama, inagurated the event by cutting the ribbon.

Masooma, a perfectionist that she is, took care of every detail. From catering to entertainment, she selected best of the best. Also treated everybody, invited or uninvited guest as V.I.P. The complete photography of the launch was done by Masooma's younger daughter Bisma Shaoib.

The surprising element is, all the interior designed at Zubia Zainabs' 1st outlet is done by Masooma & Mr. Shoaib. They went through unimaginable difficulties & problems, but their determination, conquered it all.

They have indeed created history. Bravo!! Their whole family is a reason for all  Multani'ites to be proud of. & sincerely pray enormous success for every new venture they take up.

Leading lady of Multan Mrs. Farrukh Mukhtar

Mrs. Farrukh Mukhtar Mrs. Farrukh Mukhtar is a name synonymous with women empowerment in entire South Punjab. She is a living proof of the saying, 'empowered women, empower other women'. She became a member of Majlis-e-shurra of Pakistan and served at that position from 1982 to 1985 and dedicated herself for the betterment of underprivileged women of South Punjab.  Mrs. Farrukh Mukhtar was fully aware of the talents of the women of this area and knew how their skills were exploited at home and at work. She was determined to uplift and raise their standards of living, through education and trainings. She was among first people to ever demand a separate university for the girls of Multan and remained persistent about it. Finally, it bore fruit, three decades later, in form of women's university Multan.  Not just education, but she has worked for the social and economic empowerment of the women too. Annual debates at SOS Herman Gmeiner school

Glimpses from the event When you first visit SOS Herman Gmeiner school Multan, you are amazed by its majestic architectural design, beautifully decorated class rooms, functional libraries, meticulously pruned playgrounds, clean walkways and glistening environment. You look at the well mannered, disciplined, full of smiles students, extremely efficient staff members, all this makes you believe that this must be a high end school. To be honest, it is equally great in all its standards. Rather better in some, as they have Rosetta Stone library, through its audio/video English learning methods, children of this school have acquired exceptional accents and perfect pronunciations. Each student has access to laptop in computer class, their teachers use smartboard alongwith blackboard. Even their teachers are assessed and guided with the help of executive committee members. There is a subject of  'general knowledge', which is based on the colorful books in their library, it requires th
