Khurraim's 1st birthday bash by Rabbania and Waqas.

The happy, little family of Rabbania... Khurraim and Waqas.

For any woman who becomes a mother, there is nothing as exciting in life, as celebrating her first child's first birthday. Same was the case with Rabbania Abbasi.Rabbania is a young, bright and beautiful girl, who remained a member of the visiting faculty of department of English, Bahaudin Zakariya university, Multan. After getting married, she had to say 'adieu' to her job, inorder to take care of her new born Khurraim.

This lovely lady had carefully thought and planned everything perfectly, over the year. A unique theme for the party; 'balloon fantasy'. With equally unusual color scheme, Black and White.
Rabbania had special balloons delivered from Canada, for her son's special day.

And on 22nd August, 2013, she went on to throw a big birthday bash, for the friends and family.
'Events' at Shapes, was selected as the venue for the party. And the time was 6pm. But all her relatives arrived pretty late, as they knew it was a formal dinner.

The hall was decorated beautifully with Black and White balloons.
Balloons on the roof, balloons on the floor, balloons on every table, balloons all around.
It perfectly depicted, a balloon fantasy land. And all the kids had a great time, playing there.

The cake was a big one, specially designed to match the Black and White theme. Rabbania had it made on order, from LeCafe', Multan. A special throne was erected for the cake cutting ceremony. Rabbania and her husband Waqas, carried Khurraim and on his behalf cut the cake.

This beautiful cake cutting ceremony was followed by an extravagant feast of splendid cuisine.  Which left the guests, satisfied to the core.

It was indeed a fantastic event. And the credit goes to Rabbania, for taking care of all the details, alongwith entertaining all the guests. Congratulations girl!
Once again, lots of prayers and best wishes for Khurraim.
Hope to see many more of his birthdays in the future.

Rabbania, with the love of her life, Khurraim.

Annual debates at SOS Herman Gmeiner school

Glimpses from the event When you first visit SOS Herman Gmeiner school Multan, you are amazed by its majestic architectural design, beautifully decorated class rooms, functional libraries, meticulously pruned playgrounds, clean walkways and glistening environment. You look at the well mannered, disciplined, full of smiles students, extremely efficient staff members, all this makes you believe that this must be a high end school. To be honest, it is equally great in all its standards. Rather better in some, as they have Rosetta Stone library, through its audio/video English learning methods, children of this school have acquired exceptional accents and perfect pronunciations. Each student has access to laptop in computer class, their teachers use smartboard alongwith blackboard. Even their teachers are assessed and guided with the help of executive committee members. There is a subject of  'general knowledge', which is based on the colorful books in their library, it requires th

Summer is finally here, although, the weather still turns unpredictable at times. But still, one feels like taking a dip in the cool, cool water of a crystal clear pool.  M.G.M (Multan Garrison Mess. Commonly known among  Multanis, by its' old name 'services club'), opens up, pool doors for all its' members every 15th of April. The pool is open air, so it works on seasonal basis. From April to September/ October (if weather allows it).  Last year, the pool remained open, only till May, after that, it was shut down for renovations & could not be reopened because of the 'dengue' scare. MGM pool has always been, undoubtedly the biggest & the best in this city, with an excellent filtration plant to boast & an extremely dedicated team of military men as workers, for maintaining th
