FMS Committee, celebrates Valentine's day.

Rabia Bosan with her daughter Mamooma

February is usually the most beautiful time of the year in the city of saints. A month, which signifies Love and Festivity. A time, when intensity of winter reduces. A promise of spring lurks around the corner and summer is still nowhere in sight.

A time, when fields are filled with Mustard flowers. Greens start to reappear on the scene. The Blue sky, turns Bluer. Clouds come and go. Rainbows follow them. The array of colors in Nature, provoke humans to wrap themselves in some cheerful, vibrant hues. Like Reds, Yellows and Oranges, too bright for the long summer season.

Inspired by the idea of Love, FMS committee members, usually dedicate this month to Valentine's day by wearing Red. And this tradition was carried on by Rabia Bosan, who had her turn to host a party in FMS committee during February.

Rabia Bosan has an unmatched reputation of an extremely wide social circle. And is also well known for throwing extensive, extravagant parties with unimaginable number of guests. Her house on Bosan road (a big busy road) is famous for causing traffic jams, whenever, there is some function at her place. So, inorder to spare the public of any inconvenience, on 19th February, the lady decided to arrange a hi-tea at Ramada this time.
But it was Rabia's party. It could not be an ordinary hi-tea. There had to be something over the edge, something extra ordinary about it. So, a very special arrangement was done at Whispers restaurant to match Valentine's theme. The hall was fully decorated with Red balloons. Beautiful flower arrangements were laid on the tables everywhere. A personal touch was speaking of Rabia's hard work.

The most beautiful part of the Valentine's themed parties, is the dress code. Rabia had informed all the guests to arrive in Red. And the whole cafe' was flooded with variety of Red outfits. Beautiful ladies in a variety of Red shades. Indeed a pretty sight. Rabia's very pretty daughter Mamoona also helped her mother, entertain the guests.

Thanks a lot
Rabia for organizing such a wonderful event. This party of yours' sure inspired many others to follow. Something truly awesome!

Annual debates at SOS Herman Gmeiner school

Glimpses from the event When you first visit SOS Herman Gmeiner school Multan, you are amazed by its majestic architectural design, beautifully decorated class rooms, functional libraries, meticulously pruned playgrounds, clean walkways and glistening environment. You look at the well mannered, disciplined, full of smiles students, extremely efficient staff members, all this makes you believe that this must be a high end school. To be honest, it is equally great in all its standards. Rather better in some, as they have Rosetta Stone library, through its audio/video English learning methods, children of this school have acquired exceptional accents and perfect pronunciations. Each student has access to laptop in computer class, their teachers use smartboard alongwith blackboard. Even their teachers are assessed and guided with the help of executive committee members. There is a subject of  'general knowledge', which is based on the colorful books in their library, it requires th

Summer is finally here, although, the weather still turns unpredictable at times. But still, one feels like taking a dip in the cool, cool water of a crystal clear pool.  M.G.M (Multan Garrison Mess. Commonly known among  Multanis, by its' old name 'services club'), opens up, pool doors for all its' members every 15th of April. The pool is open air, so it works on seasonal basis. From April to September/ October (if weather allows it).  Last year, the pool remained open, only till May, after that, it was shut down for renovations & could not be reopened because of the 'dengue' scare. MGM pool has always been, undoubtedly the biggest & the best in this city, with an excellent filtration plant to boast & an extremely dedicated team of military men as workers, for maintaining th
