Enlightened Multan 1st open mic session

Glimpses of the event Enlightened Multan, is growing through leaps and bounds. It is a community build to awaken the quest for knowledge. Bringing to the natives of city of saints, series of lectures, interactive sessions, to enable them to speak up about their issues regarding mental health, social problems and to encourage and promote healthy discussions. Thaddeus Golas said; “Enlightenment is any experience of expanding our consciousness beyond its present limits. We could also say that perfect enlightenment is realizing that we have no limits at all, and that the entire universe is alive.” Following this idea, the geniuses behind 'Enlightened Multan', Mr. Khawaja Abdul Haq  and Mrs. Mahwish Abdul Haq , wisely decided to hold the next session of their community on 10th October, on 'world mental health day' and to honor it, they changed the usual pattern of their 'Tea and talk' program, from 'speakers only' to 'open mic' and open forum for ...

Race gala at SOS village Multan September

Twinkle twinkle, little SOS stars An extraordinary event was planned by 'friends of SOS' for September committee party. Birthday celebrations of all children at SOS, born in September, alongwith a wonderful race gala for  children of all ages at SOS village.  The staff at SOS village had done a superb job. Baloons, buntings, flags, whistles, even lines were marked for race tracks at the venue. The weather turned amazing. Clouds and winds, transformed the evening to a beauty. Everyone was expecting a wonderful evening. Then all of a sudden, it started to rain cats and dogs. Watering all the plans and preparations.  The CEO of SOS village, Mahnaz Fareed did not want the birthday children to get disappointed. So, as suggested by Haniya Shahid, this outdoor show was changed to indoor games and activities.
