Every beginning has its end and every end is a promise of a new beginning.  FMS committee, started in February 2012, completed its tenure and  finally came to an end in June 2013. The last party in this regard was hosted by Fatima Gilani.

The gorgeous lady, selected Ramada, to entertain her guests, over a hi-tea, on 18th May. And what a day it was! It seemed as if Ramada was invaded by women that day. There were lots of parties going on at the same time, all meant for ladies. A clear indication that women of Multan are stronger than gentlemen and have got better means to socialize.

Fatima Gillani, proved herself to be a lovely hostess, besides being a wonderful person that she is. She entertained her guests in her habitual sweet way. And interesting fact was that, members kept dropping in out at their own convenience, nobody had to sit and wait till the end. Everybody had a great time and appeared stunning in their beautiful lawn suits.

All the guests were eager to know, when this committee is going to start again. Some suggested it to re-start it at once. But FMS decided to give it, a summer break and promised to resume in September/October. With some lovely new members.

Remember, FMS committee is one, which appears on this blog on regular basis. So, the regular viewers of the blog will have to wait for it, for a while. And whoever, is the member of this committee, gets a post like this as a gift.

Leading lady of Multan Mrs. Farrukh Mukhtar

Mrs. Farrukh Mukhtar Mrs. Farrukh Mukhtar is a name synonymous with women empowerment in entire South Punjab. She is a living proof of the saying, 'empowered women, empower other women'. She became a member of Majlis-e-shurra of Pakistan and served at that position from 1982 to 1985 and dedicated herself for the betterment of underprivileged women of South Punjab.  Mrs. Farrukh Mukhtar was fully aware of the talents of the women of this area and knew how their skills were exploited at home and at work.
