Mrs. Farrukh Mukhtar, does not require any introduction. From politics to charity, socializing to social work, cultural, religious affairs to health matters. Her distinguished name is at top of the list, of every genuine & respectable institute of Multan. 


Ladies club, APWA, women chamber of commerce, Nishtar hospital, Pak- Arab fertilizer factory,etc. etc. You name it & there she is, sponsoring, patronizing & supporting everything.


 Blessed with amazing capabilities to handle so many things together & unmatched beauty of her soul, this lady is indeed the uncrowned 'queen' of Multan. 

On Friday, 15th June, Mrs. Farrukh Mukhtar, invited at her palatial home, Al-Fazal, few of the most successful female entrepreneurs of South Punjab, at an informal tea-party. More of a meeting, with an agenda to motivate women to get on the road of economic stability & also extend help to those, already on the way to progress & fix their problems, if they had any.

Lots of issues were discussed in a congenial environment & all the participants were entertained with cordial hospitality that Begum Farrukh is renowned for. 

The event turned out to be extremely constructive & all those who attended it, highly appreciated this effort.

Leading lady of Multan Mrs. Farrukh Mukhtar

Mrs. Farrukh Mukhtar Mrs. Farrukh Mukhtar is a name synonymous with women empowerment in entire South Punjab. She is a living proof of the saying, 'empowered women, empower other women'. She became a member of Majlis-e-shurra of Pakistan and served at that position from 1982 to 1985 and dedicated herself for the betterment of underprivileged women of South Punjab.  Mrs. Farrukh Mukhtar was fully aware of the talents of the women of this area and knew how their skills were exploited at home and at work. She was determined to uplift and raise their standards of living, through education and trainings. She was among first people to ever demand a separate university for the girls of Multan and remained persistent about it. Celebration of Saraiki culture

Uzma Burana hosting her show Multan is one of the few places on earth, where Saraiki is regarded a native language.  As this city is considered a parallel civilization to Rome; Saraiki is often compared to French language in sweetness, softness and beauty.
