Committee dinner by Arona Shabbir and Beenish Usman.

Beenish Usman and Arona Shabbir There is a trend in Multan, that committee parties for women are usually arranged at lunch time, or  hi-teas in the evenings. But, because  Arona Shabbir  is a lady with a career, she preferred to host a dinner instead, on a weekend night (Friday 30th November). Which turned out to be really convenient for the members, who have jobs in the mornings or school going children. This was the last party, in the committee, run by  Farah Saqib . Venue was Shangrilla Chinese, the most well reputed place for Chinese food here. Menu; of course, could not be other than scrumptious Chinese cuisine. Arona had a special separate hall arranged for her fellow members of the committee, so they enjoyed a relaxed environment of a private party. Arona shared the privilege of hosting the event with her niece    Beenish Usman  who happens to be a competent banker. This is not the first party by Arona Shabbir to appear on this blog. The event of her daughter's wedd

Rabia Bosan and Afsheen Bhaba's Committee party

The bright and beautiful hostesses Rabia Bossan and Afsheen Bhaba. Coming back to the famous FMS' committee party again. It was Rabia Bossan and Afsheen Bhaba's turn to party this November. After eid-ul-Azha there is always a little gap between the next month of Muharram (Which happens to be the 1st month of Islamic year. According to Muslim faith, life is not meant to be wasted in celebrations and frivolities. So, Islamic year begins with a sad touch, instead). And before the beginning of Muharram, there is always a rush of marriages and eid-milan parties. Taking advantage of the timing, these two beautiful ladies decided a colour theme for their party. 'Red or bright'. Most of the members arrived in Red, few opted to wear other bright colours like Orange or Black. The venue of the party was again, Ramada. And a scrumptious menu of hi-tea awaited all the ladies. The major feature of the party was Rabia Bossan's guests. This lady is among the claimants

Roof top, Eid milan dinner by Mala and Ahsan Rasheed.

Beautiful hostess of the event, Mala Ahsan also known as Shimaila Jabeen. Mala Ahsan and Mr. Ahsan Rasheed, are few of the most lively, young, popular couples of the city of saints. Being the owners of Shama banaspati ghee, they sponsor all the mega events in Multan. Of all the characteristics attributed to them, top of the list is their spirit to party. Well known for holding functions for the families. They welcome husbands and wives, along with their kids. So, an invitation from Mr. Ahsan Rasheed and Mala, brings smiles on the faces of entire family. As they actually belong to Lahore. Usually, they are not in Multan on eids. But they love their friends and realize how they leave them, deprived of their wonderful company, on such days of religious festivities. To make it up for that, they always organize eid-milans, when they are back in town. On Friday, 9th November 2012, one such event was arranged at their beautiful home. The most interesting feature of their house is

Recently, it was Eid-ul-Azha  celebrated at the end of October. Ladies club, Multan has a tradition of contributing to the spirit of festivity, by arranging Eid-milan ( a get-together after eid), for its esteemed members. One such event took place on 7th November, 2012. The party was funded by the club. The extra money left, after meeting all the expenses of the club (i,e; electricity/gas bills, servants' salaries, etc) from the amount collected as annual membership fees from the members was surrendered to the club by, 'Finance secretary' of the club, Dr. Naseem Durrani. She managed, the entire menu and layout of the hi-tea for the guests. As we all know, woman is the name of a thousand vanities. And such functions provide her an opportunity to show off her tastes an
