Pashu, the multi-brand store, you wished for.

Amaara, the genius behind the brands store, with a friend.

Dressing well, carrying branded accessories, looking good, are the ultimate desires of every woman. And Multani ladies excel here, than women from any other part of Pakistan. The fact, that Hina Rabbani Khar, the undoubted brand queen of Pakistani politics, emerged from this land, is enough to boast, the kind of class Multani women like to maintain.

Keeping in view the desire and demand, a young lady called Amaara, came up with idea of opening a big store, stocking clothes, accessories, designer items, bigger brands from Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad, across the border and all around the world.

Amaara has named her shop, after her little daughter's nick, 'Pashu', also known as Palwasha.

The opening ceremony of 'Pashu', took place on Sunday, 7th April, 2013, at 11 am in the morning
.

The major feature of the event was exhibition of the fashion designer  Shirin Hassan's, lawn from Lahore. Which worked as magnet to draw women to this freshly opened store, as this lawn was previously, unavailable in Multani market. And it sold like hot cakes. Shirin Hassan's beautiful brand manager Sidra Sabir  was there too, carefully handling the display, providing an insight about the theme and designing of the clothes. This very talented girl has also worked with Khawar Riaz , the photographer. But most of you may remember her as 'interior decorator' of ChenOne, Multan. Sidra did her masters in 'fine arts' from BZU, Multan and 'graphic designing' from NCA, Lahore.

Coming back to it, one of the best characteristics of 'Pashu', is its location. It is situated on top of the CSD plaza, at the back side, in a vast hall. And there is plenty of parking space outside, in a well protected and serene
surrounding.

The store is well stocked with ready to wear, formal, informal, designer clothes for women of all sizes and ages. Accessories like purses, shoes, etc, will soon be available here.

Amaara, the bright and beautiful owner of this store is strongly determined to provide every branded item, to the natives of the city of saints, for which they previously they had to travel, to Lahore or Karachi. This young entrepreneur is all set to steal the entire designer market of Multan.

We congratulate her, at the start of this extravagant fair and wish her
best of luck, in her future endeavors.

The little girl in Blue is PASHU, the shop is named after her. With her granny and a relative.

Leading lady of Multan Mrs. Farrukh Mukhtar

Mrs. Farrukh Mukhtar Mrs. Farrukh Mukhtar is a name synonymous with women empowerment in entire South Punjab. She is a living proof of the saying, 'empowered women, empower other women'. She became a member of Majlis-e-shurra of Pakistan and served at that position from 1982 to 1985 and dedicated herself for the betterment of underprivileged women of South Punjab.  Mrs. Farrukh Mukhtar was fully aware of the talents of the women of this area and knew how their skills were exploited at home and at work. She was determined to uplift and raise their standards of living, through education and trainings. She was among first people to ever demand a separate university for the girls of Multan and remained persistent about it. Finally, it bore fruit, three decades later, in form of women's university Multan.  Not just education, but she has worked for the social and economic empowerment of the women too. Annual debates at SOS Herman Gmeiner school

Glimpses from the event When you first visit SOS Herman Gmeiner school Multan, you are amazed by its majestic architectural design, beautifully decorated class rooms, functional libraries, meticulously pruned playgrounds, clean walkways and glistening environment. You look at the well mannered, disciplined, full of smiles students, extremely efficient staff members, all this makes you believe that this must be a high end school. To be honest, it is equally great in all its standards. Rather better in some, as they have Rosetta Stone library, through its audio/video English learning methods, children of this school have acquired exceptional accents and perfect pronunciations. Each student has access to laptop in computer class, their teachers use smartboard alongwith blackboard. Even their teachers are assessed and guided with the help of executive committee members. There is a subject of  'general knowledge', which is based on the colorful books in their library, it requires th
