Farewell to a fair lady.

Saadia Yaqub, Mahnaz Fareed, Aassiya Khurram Agha, Hania Shahid and Rameen Anees.

Farewell is beautiful
A glimpse into the future
Farewell is wonderful
It sets for Adventure...

And the occasion becomes even more beautiful, when it is hosted by, not one or two but four gorgeous girls. That too, for another splendid damsel.

Such was the farewell, hosted by Hania Shahid, Mahnaz Fareed Sheikh,  Rameen Anis and Dr. Saleha Bokhari, in honor of the lovely lady, Aasiya Khurram Agha.

Aasiya, needs no introduction, as she is widely known, as the principal of Beaconhouse school, Multan. She was doubly fortunate as her husband was also the auspicious commissioner, district administration, in the very same city. You can call her, triply blessed because of possessing the loveliest, most happening girls in town as her friends. And what are you going to think, if you are told, that her family is not leaving Multan, for an ordinary place but flying straight to Washington DC, United States of America.
Propitious, indeed!

So, the evening, in her honor, had to be outstanding. On Tuesday, 14th May, a dinner was arranged. At Shapes, roof-top barbecue restaurant. The atmosphere was charged with joy and ambiance filled with girly excitement. All the ladies, were stylishly dressed to set the scene alight.

From welcome drink to the desserts, appetizers to main course, everything was carefully selected. A scrumptious, sumptuous treat indeed.

Aasiya was made to cut the cake as well, because her birthday had just passed, few days ago. And it was delightful to see, how all the friends enjoyed devouring the cake, despite being diet conscious.
Everybody had a wonderful time. The hostesses were simply amazing, specially Mahnaz Fareed, Hania and Rameen, not just appeared dazzling but also paid, individual attention to each and every guest and entertained them really well.

Lots of prayers, for those who value their friends, by honoring them with such events. And also great wishes for the one, who is moving to the new place. God bless you all.

Commonly known among  Multanis, by its' old name 'services club'), opens up, pool doors for all its' members every 15th of April. The pool is open air, so it works on seasonal basis. From April to September/ October (if weather allows it).  Last year, the pool remained open, only till May, after that, it was shut down for renovations & could not be reopened because of the 'dengue' scare. MGM pool has always been, undoubtedly the biggest & the best in this city, with an excellent filtration plant to boast & an extremely dedicated team of military men as workers, for maintaining th

Annual debates at SOS Herman Gmeiner school

Glimpses from the event When you first visit SOS Herman Gmeiner school Multan, you are amazed by its majestic architectural design, beautifully decorated class rooms, functional libraries, meticulously pruned playgrounds, clean walkways and glistening environment. You look at the well mannered, disciplined, full of smiles students, extremely efficient staff members, all this makes you believe that this must be a high end school. To be honest, it is equally great in all its standards. Rather better in some, as they have Rosetta Stone library, through its audio/video English learning methods, children of this school have acquired exceptional accents and perfect pronunciations. Each student has access to laptop in computer class, their teachers use smartboard alongwith blackboard. Even their teachers are assessed and guided with the help of executive committee members. There is a subject of  'general knowledge', which is based on the colorful books in their library, it requires th
