Rabia Bosan's party in FMS committee

Rabia Bosan, Itrat Gillani and the little cake company cake
Rabia Bosan is among the most friendly and well known ladies of Multan. You see a group of three ladies, well, they are actually four, fourth is Rabia Bosan. She is in every group, every committee party, every club, all the activities and causes. She is friends with your friends and all their families as well. She does everything which pleases her friends and family. Spreads, love, joy and happiness among all, with her care and compassion. This is why she is loved and appreciated by everybody. One important characteristic of her that you must know, if you want to socialise with her. Never trust her when she invites you to her party and tells you, it is a simple affair. Because what she considers SIMPLE, is much more formal than what you commonly believe as formal. Same goes with her dressing, makeup and over all lifestyle.

Recently she hosted FMS committee party at London Courtyard Multan . A simple event as it was supposed to be, but she added a beautiful theme to it. She requested all the members to wear Pink and told them, whoever is voted for perfect Pink, receives a prize. Which turned out to be gift vouchers from London courtyard, worth 2000 rupees each. Then instead of picking one, she told the judge Itrat Gillani to pick three winners. Kiran Dogar , Sobia Rizwan & Fariha Munir were the recipients & Itrat (the judge) was requested to give away the coupons.
Interestingly, the same event was dedicated to celebration of Itrat Gillani's birthday. Itrat Gillani is an accomplished beautician and a seasoned entrepreneur. She owns two Alle'Nora beauty parlour branches in Multan and opening another in Bahawalpur. She had also successfully run, Lahore Chatkhara Multan branch for several years in partnership with Hania Shahid. Later, both of them got too busy and decided to call it quits. Rabia had a special corner beautifully decorated in LCY for birthday celebration. A table filled with rose petals, candle stands and balloons. She also presented her a large bouquet of flowers, a sash with birthday girl written on it and a crown, befitting and complementing Itrat's grand personality. As if it was not enough, she had ordered a very special cake from the best baker of Multan, the little cake company by Zahra Shah. With lovely fondant flowers, it was make-up themed, to match Itrat's passion for her work. Everybody was in awe of the resplendence of the cake.

Endless servings of foods and drinks, photography and other fun filled activities were there for the guests, which everyone enjoyed.
Well done Rabia Bosan ! You are always so kind, so loving and generous to all your friends. It was your birthday on 24th November, but instead of celebrating yours, you preferred to celebrate your friend's. You are a great soul indeed. Happy birthday to you anyway!!

View of the domes of MGM bulding from inside the pool. The crystal clear blue water. Chairs lined up for the spectators. Little pool for the toddlers. Summer is finally here, although, the weather still turns unpredictable at times. But still, one feels like taking a dip in the cool, cool water of a crystal clear pool.  M.G.M (Multan Garrison Mess. Commonly known among  Multanis, by its' old name 'services club'), opens up, pool doors for all its' members every 15th of April. The pool is open air, so it works on seasonal basis. From April to September/ October (if weather allows it).  Last year, the pool remained open, only till May, after that, it was shut down for renovations & could not be reopened because of the 'dengue' scare. MGM pool has always been, undoubtedly the biggest & the best in this city, with an excellent filtration plant to boast & an extremely dedicated team of military men as workers, for maintaining th...

Annual debates at SOS Herman Gmeiner school

Glimpses from the event When you first visit SOS Herman Gmeiner school Multan, you are amazed by its majestic architectural design, beautifully decorated class rooms, functional libraries, meticulously pruned playgrounds, clean walkways and glistening environment. You look at the well mannered, disciplined, full of smiles students, extremely efficient staff members, all this makes you believe that this must be a high end school. To be honest, it is equally great in all its standards. Rather better in some, as they have Rosetta Stone library, through its audio/video English learning methods, children of this school have acquired exceptional accents and perfect pronunciations. Each student has access to laptop in computer class, their teachers use smartboard alongwith blackboard. Even their teachers are assessed and guided with the help of executive committee members. There is a subject of  'general knowledge', which is based on the colorful books in their library, it requires th...
