Exhibition, 'HAREER' from Lahore.

'Hareer', from Lahore, is a very popular brand among ladies of class & taste in Multan. As 'Hareer'  has no regular outlet here, but, due to the demand of their stuff, they keep  exhibiting their stuff off & on. This weekend, they arranged an exhibition at Sindbad hotel, for 2 days, 28th & 29th. Today, on 28th, they were open till 8pm. & tomorrow, 29th April, they'll only be there, till 5pm.

They have to offer beautiful materials, including lawn, chiffons, silk, silky lawn, etc. Lovely block prints, screen printing, crochet work, embroideries, ranging from 2500 rps to 5000rps only are available. Which is nothing compared to the stuff they're offering, all pure.

So, ladies!!Rush over there, at your earliest tomorrow & grab something for yourself. Gentlemen, can visit too. If they can't wear such clothes, they can strike the most reasonable deal, quality stuff  & get something for the lovely ladies, they have in their lives. Do not miss this opportunity.

M.G.M. Swimming pool.

View of the domes of MGM bulding from inside the pool. The crystal clear blue water. Chairs lined up for the spectators. Little pool for the toddlers. Summer is finally here, although, the weather still turns unpredictable at times. But still, one feels like taking a dip in the cool, cool water of a crystal clear pool.  M.G.M (Multan Garrison Mess. Commonly known among  Multanis, by its' old name 'services club'), opens up, pool doors for all its' members every 15th of April. The pool is open air, so it works on seasonal basis. From April to September/ October (if weather allows it).  Last year, the pool remained open, only till May, after that, it was shut down for renovations & could not be reopened because of the 'dengue' scare. Annual debates at SOS Herman Gmeiner school

Glimpses from the event When you first visit SOS Herman Gmeiner school Multan, you are amazed by its majestic architectural design, beautifully decorated class rooms, functional libraries, meticulously pruned playgrounds, clean walkways and glistening environment. You look at the well mannered, disciplined, full of smiles students, extremely efficient staff members, all this makes you believe that this must be a high end school. To be honest, it is equally great in all its standards. Rather better in some, as they have Rosetta Stone library, through its audio/video English learning methods, children of this school have acquired exceptional accents and perfect pronunciations. Each student has access to laptop in computer class, their teachers use smartboard alongwith blackboard. Even their teachers are assessed and guided with the help of executive committee members. There is a subject of  'general knowledge', which is based on the colorful books in their library, it requires th

Maria BB's dholki at Tehmina Munir's

Glimpses of the resplendent event at Tehmina Munir's house. SOS children's village Multan is a little wonderland. Where children are raised with all the love in the world. No blood relatives are required for the purpose, as SOS villages have their own family system and nurture a congenial environment. A village consists of several houses. Each house is an abode to ten children. Looked after by a lady, appointed as 'mother'. She is responsible for taking care of the household chores and of the children like a mother. In short, it is made sure, they receive the affection of sisters, brothers and a mother. If there are siblings residing in the village, it is ensured, they are housed together. So, they are not deprived of their blood relations as well. For the rest, the generous and kind 'friends of SOS' are always there to extend their loving gestures. The monthly committee party system is adopted to keep them actively involved in the life at SOS village and en
